About
Welcome to my page!
I am Melanie Nolleau, a young professional specialising in European policies. Currently working for the French Ministry of Agriculture, within the Common Agricultural Policy department, where I am in charge of implementing European environmental policies within the French regulations and national programs (Good Agricultural Environmental Conditions).
Before that, I was a trainee for the Economic & Trade section of the Delegation of the European Union in India.
I worked on a various projects among which I participated in the EU-India Free Trade Agreement negotiations, I produced an extensive sectoral market analysis on the prospects for the organic market in India building on the opportunities and hindrances for the EU and presented a strategic report on India's strategy for trade agreements: between inconsistencies, ambivalences and opportunities.
I graduated with a Master's in European Affairs from Sciences Po Paris. My area of interest ranges from EU external action, and global trade to agriculture and environmental policies. With a strong background in political science, my holistic understanding of contemporary issues led me to work on topics such as gender equality, food security, trade policies and digital inclusion. I wish to dedicate my professional journey to working on providing innovative responses to current global challenges faced by the European Union and its Member States.
